Let us talk

for people and companies who want to move things forward

Think strategically. Decide clearly. Act effectively.

I support people in positions of responsibility in gaining new perspectives, developing strategies and taking the next steps.

Concept

An independent counterpart

Profound change, mounting pressure to adapt and the determination to shape the future now call for strategic thinking, clear decisions and effective action. Facing these challenges alone is often difficult: your thoughts quickly start going round in circles, and not every question can be discussed openly within your own organisation.

What is often missing is an independent, trustworthy and experienced counterpart who will listen, question, put things into context and bring in different perspectives.

As a sparring partner for strategy and development, I work with people who lead companies, business units, teams or projects. In times of change, this often involves strategic questions, demanding decisions and their subsequent implementation.

If you are facing an important turning point or need a fresh perspective on a complex question, we should talk.

Working together

Successful collaboration starts with listening and the wish to really understand. From that come the right questions, new perspectives and your own ways forward. As a sparring partner I accompany you on this path.

Understanding the foundation

Origin and what has shaped us

Our origin, relationships, values and experiences shape who we are. They form the basis of how we think and act. Companies, too, are shaped by their history, relationships, values and experiences – and from that, culture develops. In consulting, coaching and sparring, the first task is to understand this foundation. That is what the black square stands for. It gives stability and is the starting point for change.

Exploring the options

Room to act and the strategic options now

From this foundation, different ways of acting open up. The moving grey circle stands for the room to test options and shift perspective. With the future we want in view, we weigh things up: which direction do we want to take? Which strategic option leads best to the aim? That is how orientation becomes a well-founded decision.

Shaping the future

Direction and purposeful action

The yellow triangle makes the direction visible. Its movement shows the search for a fitting direction – connected with our foundation and the options for action. On that basis we aim what we do at the goal. We turn the chosen strategy into concrete steps, check their effect and adjust our approach when needed.

About

… experience, background and mindset

Benefit from more than 25 years of experience in marketing, sales and general management at world-leading companies – for yourself and the questions you face.

After studying business administration with a focus on marketing and psychology, my career took me through a wide range of companies, countries, cultures, markets and leadership situations. I have developed international teams, devised growth strategies and led organisations through far-reaching change.

In 2013 I founded my consultancy perspective: international. Initially, the focus was on internationalising business – a process that requires strategic competence as much as operational execution. Over the years, the emphasis of my work shifted from consulting towards business coaching and genuine sparring partnerships.

Since 2022 I have also been teaching as a lecturer in marketing and international business at FHWien der WKW, where I gain new perspectives every day.

It is important to me to keep the bigger picture in view, to think in systems and connections, and to take on different perspectives. At the same time, I like to get specific quickly and to develop and implement creative, practical solutions together.

My career

  • Studied business administration at the University of Cologne (Diplom-Kaufmann), including a five-month traineeship at TBWA Advertising Inc. in New York (USA) alongside my studies.

Process

From thinking to action

My aim is not to take decisions away from you. I structure the process, ask questions, open perspectives and support you in assessing your options.

Only you can decide and act.

The way there:

Foundation

  1. 01

    Understand the situation

  2. 02

    Reduce complexity

Options

  1. 03

    Gain clarity

  2. 04

    Open perspectives

  3. 05

    Assess the options

Direction

  1. 06

    Decide

  2. 07

    Implement

The aim: move into action faster, and on a sounder basis.

Offer

The questions people come to me with

For example

  • 01How do we develop our business, or our area of responsibility, from here?
  • 02How do we unlock a leadership or organisational situation that has stalled?
  • 03Which decision is the right one under the conditions we actually have?
  • 04What impact do AI and technological change have on our business model?
  • 05What capabilities will leaders need from here on?
  • 06How do we bring employees with us through a change process?
  • 07How do I position myself for the next step in a volatile environment?

The topics differ. The core is often the same: understand the complexity, see the connections that matter, and gain clarity for the next steps.

Working together

What you can expect from me

01

Experience and a whole view

More than 30 years of professional and leadership experience, in different roles, companies, markets and cultures, have shaped the way I see a situation.

That includes successes as well as difficult decisions, changes and situations that called for a new perspective. This experience helps place a situation quickly, see the connections and bring different perspectives together.

02

Method, structure and a shift in perspective

Complex questions need openness — and they also need structure.

I support you in:

  • making the relevant factors visible
  • understanding how they connect
  • questioning assumptions
  • developing options that hold

I work strategically, systemically and with a consistent focus on a workable outcome.

03

A view ahead

Good decisions are not oriented only to the situation today.

We think developments forward, question existing patterns of thought and look at decisions from the perspective of a possible future. That creates room to act, rather than merely to react.

In short: I do not simply advise with ready-made answers. I help decision-makers take better decisions and implement them consistently.

Occasion

When sparring is especially valuable

An external sparring partner can be especially helpful

  • when a decision has far-reaching consequences,

  • when different interests inside the organisation collide,

  • when you lack an independent perspective,

  • when you are weighing several plausible options,

  • when change calls for orientation and clear priorities,

  • or when you want to question your own assumptions deliberately.

The exchange is confidential, independent and consistently focused on your concrete situation.
